Can’t keep your little asshole dog in the yard? Neither could we! Until Now…………………

It started with one adorable inside dog, which quickly turned to two. Eventually they started to wander and brought home a stray pregnant neighborhood dog. She had two adorable puppies which she fed for a while and then ditched for me to care for. We now have 4 boys who are rowdy and like to go explore. We were renting a home at the time and it did not have a fence.

We started with a wireless electric fence which worked very well for our small property that was close to a fairly busy road. This unit simply gets mounted in the center of the area you want your pups to be restricted to, customizable radius of coverage. It has flags to help train your pups so they are aware of the boundaries. Great option for renters, travelers, no fence, or for someone without time or resources to bury a traditional wired dog fence system. Specific collars are needed depending upon the options chosen.

The wireless collars do seem to be a little pricier than having a wired electric pet fence but still a huge cost savings compared to installing a traditional fence and saves lots of time on not having to tediously bury the wire of a wired electric fence. Limited coverage area with this option.

Keep in mind you will need to buy batteries for any electric pet fence, the wireless pet fence and the standard wired collars take RFA-67 batteries and the stubborn dog collar takes standard 9V batteries.

Once we purchased our home the wireless pet fence was not the best option. We wanted the boys to be able to explore all of their new home. We eventually just started relying on our traditional fence to keep them in, which obviously did not work. Frank James, one of my boys, loves rolling in cow poop and we don’t have cows!! They were all always out on some kind of adventure! So we hired someone to come lay the wire and install the fence we bought online. We bought a stubborn dog system for Frank, he is a lot like me, if he wants it, he will get it!
